TeamSETI members only may pre-register their children, aged 8-15, for an interactive science activity during the members-only hour -- 1:30-2:30 p.m. Please fill out the form below if you are interested as there are a limited number available. Science kit activities will be open to the public on a first-come, first serve basis, for the 2:30-3:30 and 3:00-4:00 times.

Activities will begin on time. Please arrive promptly as openings will be filled from a wait list.

Owl Pellets (for younger children): take apart owl pellets and classify bones, skulls, and other skeletal remains.

Night & Day: create model of the earth, spinning on its axis and changing its seasonal position relative to the sun.

Catapult: build a simple machine and experiment with particle dynamics.

Weather Station: build a “weather-proof” weather station to set up at home and monitor local weather conditions.

2:00pm and 3:00pm sessions

Potential Energy and Friction: build and test a vehicle that uses energy stored in weights. Then learn how to maximize the vehicle's efficiency by giving it a tune-up! .
